Two more patients have died at Chesterfield Royal Hospital after testing positive for Covid-19, according to the latest figures released by NHS England this afternoon.
A total of 85 people with the virus have now died at the Royal.
Latest Government statistics show there are currently 1,835 confirmed cases of Covid-19 in Derbyshire – 1,331 in Derbyshire county and 504 in Derby city.
The total number of coronavirus patients who have died in England’s hospitals now stands at 21,750.
